Italian manufacturer MKTG Industry describes its new „Flatty“ with elasticated band closure as the smallest reusable paper packaging for make-up powder. Compared to the conventional Flatty, the updated version is completely customisable, right down to the elastic band.

In the development of the Packaging innovation The aim was to achieve the thinnest Primary packaging design. Accordingly, the container is only five millimetres thick. It can be taken anywhere and fits perfectly into the smallest of handbags or even sports bags or jacket pockets, writes the company from Crema.

Powder compact is held in place without sticking

The new Flatty consists of Cardboard packaging and Paper and is therefore sustainable and environmentally friendly. Inside the Flatty a compartment has been provided to hold the powder compact in place without having to stick it down. This feature allows the powders to be exchanged and the different packs to be separated correctly later on.

The new Locking mechanism with an elasticated band allows users to use the packaging again and again and to regularly replace the make-up it contains. The MKTG customers can choose from many different colours and thicknesses of elastic bands.
