Südpack, supplier of film packaging solutions for food and medical products, has appointed Erik Bouts as the new spokesman for the Südpack Group's management board.

Südpack Verpackungen GmbH & Co. KG, a provider of film packaging solutions for food and medical products, has appointed Erik Bouts as the new Spokesman of the Management Board for the Südpack Group. He took over the position from the previous spokesman and managing partner Johannes Remmele on 9 September 2019.
Born in the Netherlands, Erik Bouts has many years of international experience. Experience in the packaging industry. Following positions at Owens-Illinois, the global market leader for glass containers, Owens-Illinois, and at beverage can manufacturer Ball Corporation, he was most recently CEO of the Mondi Group's paper packaging division for industrial applications, responsible for 60 sites worldwide.

Johannes Remmele will gradually withdraw from operational management from September. However, as a member of the Advisory Board, he will remain closely connected and support the management in the further strategic expansion of the business. Erik Bouts, together with Carolin Grimbacher and Tharcisse Carl lead the Südpack Group.
