„Achieving more together“ - that was what counted for Kurt Engel

The community was very close to Kurt Engel's heart. For him, Packaging Valley is more than just an association. During his time in office, it was to become a profitable network for members, customers and employees. The concentrated expertise can be seen at various events and trade fair appearances. Packaging Valley is characterised above all by Short distances between suitable solution providers from. The large joint stand at trade fairs is just one part of Kurt Engel's work for Packaging Valley. He was also involved in organising a Virtual Reality Centre to Schwäbisch Hall to get. This should enable the cluster to expand its status as an innovative technology centre.

„More can be achieved together and successes can be celebrated better together. In addition, we have enormous expertise in packaging machine construction here, which can realise its potential even better through the community. I wish my successor and the association a successful future in which community always remains the most important thing.“

Martin Buchwitz brings new experience to Packaging Valley

„The footsteps are big - no question about it, but there is still room for new ones. Of course, I want to continue what we have achieved, but I also want to break new ground,“ says Martin Buchwitz.

He knows mechanical engineering from many sides. As a trained electronics engineer, Martin Buchwitz worked in automation technology. Sales, marketing, press and public relations in this field were stations in his career. He was editor-in-chief of two automation magazines. Most recently, he worked as a freelancer for industrial image processing companies and non-profit organisations.
