Four companies were named “Hessen Champion” at the Hessian Entrepreneurs„ Day 2019. Label manufacturer Faubel from Melsungen was one of this year's winners in the “Innovation" category.
The company was honoured for the Faubel-Med® label. This new generation of labels is equipped with an e-paper display and RFID technology.
For the 18th time, the Hessian Ministry for Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development and the Federation of Hessian Business Associations (VhU) special entrepreneurial successes. A high-ranking jury from the worlds of business, politics and the media selected the winners in the categories of global market leader, job engine and innovation.

is pleased Martin Kuge, Managing Director of Faubel, who accepted the award in Wiesbaden together with Sven Rath, Junior Consultant to the Managing Director for Marketing, Sales and New Technologies.
Automatic update of the expiry date possible
The Faubel-Med® Label is the latest development in the company's pharmaceutical labelling division. It replaces the Re-labelling of medicines in clinical trials when stability data changes, as it enables an automatic update of the expiry date. This results in immense savings in time and cost management for the research-based pharmaceutical industry in global clinical trials. On the patient side, the development means earlier availability of new therapies.
