Burkhard Balz (55) has been Senior Vice President Automation Systems at global automation specialist Lenze since 1 November 2019. With Balz, a successful manager with international leadership experience joins the Group.
In this newly created position, he heads the Systems segment and will the Growth in the systems business further advance the company. With the appointment of this recognised industry expert, Lenze is underlining its position as a leading System provider for machine automation and at the same time sets the course for an even stronger market orientation.

Balz was previously active as Vice President Sales and Marketing Power & Energy/Industry EMEA at the US industrial group SPX Flow. He previously held various positions in the Top management international industrial companies, among others at the Eaton Corporation and with Rockwell Automation. He has many years of experience and extensive Experience in drive technology and systems business. He also brings comprehensive Expertise especially in the areas of sales, marketing and business development. Balz has a Diploma in General European Management and is a state-certified technician specialising in data processing.
