B&R has equipped its drive portfolio with a blackout mode. This enables the safe control of a machine in the event of a network failure.
This means that machine downtimes can be avoided even without expensive redundancy solutions. The Maximum availability of the machine is guaranteed.
With the help of the blackout function, the secure variants of the B&R servo drive families ACOPOSmulti, ACOPOSmotor and ACOPOS P3 continue to operate in the event of a network failure. The safety functions remain activated.
