At its new site in Dorfen, which was opened last autumn, Schreiner Group has created a Production line for the manufacture of Pharma-Tac labels put into operation. These speciality labels from the Schreiner MediPharm have an integrated hanging device so that infusion bottles can be hung directly from the label. These labels are increasingly needed and in high demand, especially during the current coronavirus pandemic.
It is only six months since Schreiner Group opened its newest production site in Dorfen with a festive ceremony. But a lot has happened in the meantime. At the end of last year, 26 people were still employed in Dorfen, now there are already 35. Eight of them now work in the new Pharma-Tac 1 production line.
A new team has been put together for this purpose. Both long-standing and experienced employees as well as new recruits work hand in hand here.
„It's great to see what we have already achieved together,“ says Segment Manager Fillip Wonnemann.
A total of six new machines were purchased for the production line. With a flexographic printing machine, a pre-inspection machine, a hanger dispenser, a large-roll rewinder and two final inspection machines, all individual production steps can now be carried out on the new line. in one place centralised. With the installation and commissioning of the new Pharma-Tac 1 production line, the high-tech company is following its roadmap to handle a significant proportion of the labels for the pharmaceutical industry in Dorfen in the final expansion stage.
Matthias Meier, the project manager responsible for setting up the site, is delighted that the construction is going so smoothly and says: „Especially in the Current corona crisis our labels with integrated hangers are particularly needed.
