BillerudKorsnäs: Christoph Michalski becomes new CEO

BillerudKorsnäs has appointed Christoph Michalski as the company's new President and CEO. He will take up his new position on 1 November 2020.

The Board of Directors of BillerudKorsnäs has appointed Christoph Michalski as the company's new President and CEO. He will take up his new position on 1 November 2020.

Christoph Michalski has been CEO and Executive Director of the Vinda International Holding Ltd, a leading Asian manufacturer of innovative tissue and hygiene products listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He previously held various senior management positions within the SCA Group in the past. He also has experience in the FMCG sector at Unilever and Fonterra. Christoph Michalski holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel.

Lennart Holm, President and CEO of BillerudKorsnäs since November 2019, will leave his position at the end of October 2020, but will remain available to the company as an advisor until the end of 2020.
