Now it's the daughter's turn. Carletta Heinz took over the position of CEO of the Heinz-Glas & Plastics Group from her father Carl-August on 1 July. She is now the 13th generation to run the family business.
The HEINZ-GLAS Group is recognised as one of the World market leader in the manufacture and finishing of glass flacons and closures for the perfume and cosmetics industry. Carl-August Heinz managed the company for 43 years and will continue to be available as a consultant for the time being due to the current situation.

The business graduate, born in 1950, joined the family business 50 years ago and had to take over as sole managing director in 1977 due to the unexpectedly early death of his father Adolf. Together with his younger brother Ludwig, he became the main shareholder. In 2003, the younger brother withdrew from the company and Carl-August sold the majority of his shares.

Carletta Heinz, born in 1984, successfully completed her studies at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2012 as a Business graduate graduated. Together with three fellow students, she founded City Hunters GmbH & Co. KG. Until the end of 2013, she was solely responsible for financial accounting, controlling, taxes and payroll accounting. Carletta Heinz has been working for the HEINZ-GLAS Group since December 2013 and was accompanied on her way into management by her father Carl-August and an external mentor. In January 2017, she joined the management team as CIO. On 1 July 2020, she was appointed CEO of the Group.
