Various management changes at SIG Combibloc. Among others, Markus Boehm, Chief Market Officer and member of the Group Executive Board, is leaving the company.

Various management changes at SIG Combibloc: Markus Boehm, Chief Market Officer and member of the Group Executive Board, is leaving the company. Martin Herrenbrück, President & General Manager Europe, will also be leaving the company at the end of 2020.

According to the company, Markus Boehm's decision is being made in connection with upcoming organisational changes. The heads of the Europe, Asia-Pacific and Americas regions are to take over certain tasks of the Chief Market Officer. The remaining tasks are to be distributed among other members of the Group Executive Board.

Change in SIG Combibloc management

Ian Wood, currently Chief Supply Chain Officer, will become the new Chief Technology Officer. In addition to his existing duties, he will also assume global responsibility for technology and research and development (R&D). Samuel Sigrist, Chief Financial Officer, has overall responsibility for Commercial Operations in addition to his existing duties. This also relates to investments in bottling plants and pricing.

This means that the Number of members of the Group Executive Board reduced from seven to six. According to the company, these changes will come into force on 1 September 2020. The company will announce Martin Herrenbrück's successor at a later date.
