With the new Pure Paper Bag, SchurStar Systems is now launching a bag made from pure, unbleached and uncoated paper material.
The specially developed raw material has a strong fibre structure, offers high puncture and tear resistance and therefore good machine suitability. According to the manufacturer, the pouch has a wide range of applications, both in the non-food and food sectors, where barrier properties are not required. In the confectionery sector, for example, it is suitable for individually wrapped organic products. Overall, the Pure Paper Bag is attractive for products that want to communicate a sustainable profile. The SchurStar Pure Paper Bag can be recycled in pure paper streams.
Paper structure developed for the SchurStar concept
The paper bag was specially developed for the Schur®Star concept, which consists of the packaging machine and prefabricated bags. These are delivered to customers on a chain, as the special design ensures a uniform machine feed and a stable packaging process. The changeover between bag sizes, bag designs and product variety can therefore be carried out in just a few minutes.
Pure Paper Bag requested by customers
For years, customers had been requesting a bag solution that not only fulfils the specification of pure paper, but also packs products effectively and with consistently high quality as part of the Schur®Star concept. This is how the Schur®Star Pure Paper Bag developed as a supplement to the range of sustainable materials, which are available as part of the Schur®Star concept.
The additional expansion of the range of materials is intended to emphasise the flexibility and adaptability of the concept to practically any product, any process and any packaging condition. For raw material structure and production technology, SchurStar Systems has has applied for a patent.
One packaging concept for all segments
Due to the rectangular filling opening across the entire width of the bag the SchurStar packaging machine is suitable for filling a wide range of products. More than 500 companies worldwide rely on the concept for all product types. They pack dry products as well as fruit and vegetables, frozen meat, liquids and confectionery in bags. The concept is also suitable for toys, medical utensils, horticultural products and tools.
