Food packaging today.
With the successful completion of the CEPI recyclability test, PaperFlow P-Type has demonstrated its recyclability within established paper recycling loops. The packaging solution combines a high paper content with the functional requirements of industrial applications and has already proven its worth with international customers across various product sectors.
„The special added value of this solution lies in the fact that it enables our customers to advance their circular economy goals while remaining fully compatible with existing production environments.“
Richard Bell, Director of Innovation at Adapa Group
Functionality and Product Protection
The solution is available in various paper qualities and can be equipped with different barrier properties depending on product protection requirements. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications – including crisps, snacks, chocolate products, biscuits and cereals.
In addition to being environmentally friendly, PaperFlow P-Type also offers reliable protection for packaged products. This is particularly important for food packaging, where hygiene and freshness are paramount. Adapa has ensured that the packaging is not only functional but also meets the aesthetic requirements of manufacturers. An attractive product presentation is therefore guaranteed.
Efficient processing
A significant advantage of PaperFlow P-Type is its uncomplicated integration into existing production environments. A thin PP layer gives the material the necessary dimensional stability and, at the same time, ensures reliable sealing properties for industrial packaging processes.
PaperFlow P-Type can be processed on both horizontal and vertical form-fill-seal (HFFS/VFFS) machines. This allows the solution to enable efficient production without extensive adjustments to existing machinery, while also meeting the requirements of modern packaging applications in terms of functionality and process reliability.
