„Our reusable plastic lids are injection-moulded from polypropylene (PP) and decorated with in-mould labelling (IML). This combination makes them dishwasher-safe - and if they do have to be thrown away at some point, they are fully recyclable. Overall, less plastic is used and the lid stays in circulation for longer.“ Thomas Knoll, Key Account Manager at Greiner Packaging

The IML labels were supplied by Belgian label printer Verstraete IML. „Producing the perfect label was no easy task,“ says Peter Mertens, Regional Sales Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at Verstraete IML. „Greiner Packaging had asked us, IML labels for white and completely transparent dishwasher-safe plastic lids design. From a technological point of view, this was a very ambitious goal. But with good cooperation, we achieved it.“
