The closure with the clearly visible ring for the first-opening guarantee was introduced some time ago, and now the first market launch of the CombiMaxx closure is taking place in partnership with the Schwarzwaldmilch dairy.
The Schwarzwaldmilch Group, which is owned by a co-operative, is one of the leading dairies in Germany. Schwarzwaldmilch sets the CombiMaxx closure for all dairy products that are SIG cardboard packaging CombiblocSlimline 1,000 ml are on the market. The New fastener with 25 mm diameter enables optimum product flow and is easy to handle. In addition, a clearly visible ring serves as a first-opening guarantee.
CombiMaxx closure for more convenience

The closure can generally be used on all existing medium and large-format Combibloc and Combifit carton packs from SIG. The upgrade to CombiMaxx was an easy one for Schwarzwaldmilch without major investments possible, as the company can utilise the existing closure applicator. Only minor technical modifications to the existing closure applicator and the sorting unit were required, and a Upgrade kit possible.
After installation, customers can use both CombiMaxx and the SIG CombiSwift locking solution with the same applicator. The machine operator only needs to make a small adjustment.
