Food producer Dr Oetker has summarised its sustainability goals in a Sustainability Charter. Among other things, the company is aiming for all packaging materials to be recyclable by 2025.
The programme for greater sustainability comprises a total of 27 projects, under whose umbrella interdisciplinary teams awork. The goals are divided into three areas: Our Food, Our World and Our Company.

Sustainability at Dr Oetker
In Our World Dr Oetker is working on the social and environmental impact of its own business activities. By 2022, for example, the company aims to climate neutral become. And with the requirement to Recyclability of all packaging materials by 2025, the company intends to make its contribution to the Reduction of plastic waste achieve. In addition to making supply chains more sustainable in social and environmental terms, the company is also planning to reduce food waste, which it can „directly influence“, by 25 per cent by 2025.
