The new trade fair format automatica sprint offers the robotics and automation industry a digital platform from 22-24 June 2021. The high-tech platform for artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, munich_i Summit, will also celebrate its premiere as part of the trade fair.

Thanks to the flexible concept, numerous international key players have already confirmed their attendance in advance. The munich_i Summit offers added value, High-tech platform for artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, which is part of the automatica sprint celebrates its premiere on 22 June.

The exhibitors already confirmed from the robotics sector include ABB, Epson, Fanuc and Kuka. Bosch Rexroth, Festo, Hahn Automation, Mikron, Siemens, Schunk and Teamtechnik have also registered from the assembly and handling technology sector. Also taking part: Basler, IDS, MVTec and VMT, who will be presenting developments from the field of industrial image processing.

munich_i: AI and robotics in social discourse

As part of the automatica sprint, munich_i will also take place for the first time as a newly created and globally unique platform for robotics and artificial intelligence, also exclusively online. An essential component of the Cooperation between automatica and the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MSRM) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is the munich_i Hightech Summit on 22 June 2021, for which the Bavarian Minister President Dr Markus Söder has assumed patronage.

Under the direction of Prof. Dr Sami Haddadin, Director of the MSRM and holder of the Chair of Robotics and Systems Intelligence at TUM, and Prof. Dr Alena Buyx, Director of the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine and holder of the Chair of Ethics in Medicine and Health Technologies at TUM, participants at the summit can expect more than 20 presentations on responsible technological change and the interaction of human and artificial intelligence, particularly in the social areas of work, health and mobility, under the motto „intelligence empowering tomorrow“.
