Membership growth in Packaging Valley

Since the merger of Packaging Valley e.V. and the Packaging Excellence Centre in May last year, the packaging cluster has been strengthened: A total of twelve additional members have joined.

Since the merger of Packaging Valley e.V. and the Packaging Excellence Centre in May last year, the packaging cluster has been strengthened: A total of twelve additional members have joined.

These include companies from the packaging industry as well as cooperation partners and supporting members. New to the cluster are: A+V, Gerich, Packservice, PackPart, pbs, Rianta, Schreyer, Sensitec, Zebra, the city of Schwäbisch Hall, the IHK Centre for Further Education and the food.net:z - Lebensmitteletzwerk Rhein-Neckar e.V., which means that the network now has 86 members and brings together an enormous density of packaging specialists under its roof. The focus is on joint projects and dialogue with a wide range of specialists and other networks.

Packaging Valley: Networking for new ideas

In May, the first joint dialogue took place with the new member and food network from Heidelberg food.net:z instead.

Among other things, the focus was on sustainable food packaging, shelf life and minimising food waste.

It emerged from a merger of the Packaging Valley Germany and Packaging Excellence Region Stuttgart clusters. It networks around 85 companies with a total of over 20,000 employees. These include manufacturers of packaging systems and packaging machines, providers of software and automation solutions, manufacturers of components, providers of services relating to the packaging industry and public institutions[/infotext].
