Frank Konrad, CEO of Hahn Automation GmbH in Rheinböllen, is the new Chairman of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association.
He succeeds Wilfried Eberhardt, Chief Marketing Officer of KUKA AG, Augsburg, whose honorary position as Chairman came to an end after three years. Eberhardt will remain a member of the association's Executive Board and was honoured at this year's VDMA Robotics + Automation members' meeting for his services and extensive commitment to the industry and elected to the new VDMA Robotics + Automation Executive Board.
Dr Dietmar Ley, CEO of Basler AG, Ahrensburg, has been elected Deputy Chairman of the trade association.
