With a new programme, Xeikon wants to support its customers in mastering current challenges. Due to rising costs and material shortages, printers need to evaluate and reorganise their production processes. The "Do More with Less" programme is designed to provide customers with concrete ideas.
Printers are looking for ways to reduce material waste, production time, ink/toner and power consumption while delivering the best quality. The "Do More with Less" programme offers a range of measures that cover all aspects of the printing process. Among the options for businesses is VariLane, a workflow option of the X-800 digital front-end, which allows printers to add labels on different lanes to an existing job, with the ability to use labels in different sizes. This allows the Optimised use of the substrate become.
Job Optimiser, a function of the X-800, reduces production time and waste by up to 30 percent for jobs with many variants. The same cutting die is used for these jobs, but with a unlimited number of design variations (e.g. different flavours).
