SIG launches combistyle in America

The combistyle carton pack is launched on the American market. Frimesa and SIG present the carton pack at the ASAP Show 2022.

SIG's combistyle carton packaging is launched on the American market. The milk range and lactose-free milk from Frimesa will be converted to the packaging by June 2022. The two companies will present the carton pack at the ASAP Show 2022 in São Paulo.

The combistyle carton pack from SIG is filled on the CFA 812 filling machine - the same machine that is used to Frimesa already fills combiblocMidi 1,000 ml packs. The company uses the Format flexibility for different product types and can quickly adapt to changing market requirements.

„combistyle is characterised, among other things, by better pouring behaviour - the closure is centred and the stylish, eye-catching corner panel ensures differentiation on the shelf. The design is completely different from any other packaging on the market and features a metallic effect made possible by a unique technology from SIG.“

The investment costs for upgrading the existing CFA 810 and CFA 812 filling machines, which can fill combiblocMidi and combifitMidi in the volume range from 500 to 1,000 ml, with combistyle are low. This results in a total of up to 8 different packaging options. One machine can fill vdifferent formats and packaging volumes as well as products with different viscosities can be filled. Frimesa's entire milk range and lactose-free milk will be converted to combistyle and will be available on the market by June 2022.
