After the Italian packaging trade fair Ipack-Ima successfully took place together with Pharmintech this year, the organisers of the two trade fairs are also planning a joint date for the next edition in 2025. Milan will once again be the venue for the double trade fair.
287 exhibitors, 31 per cent of them from abroad, presented their products and services to an audience of 8,733 trade visitors from 47 countries at the beginning of May. Ipack-Ima and Pharmintech in Milan showcases the latest technologies in packaging and processing for the chemical-pharmaceutical sector. According to the organisers, that was 37% more visitors than in 2019.
This success has exceeded the expectations of the exhibitors and organisers, and Gruppo Bologna Fiere and Ipack Ima Srl have therefore announced the renewal of the agreement for the next two editions.
"We are fully satisfied with this 'test edition', which has brought really interesting results in perspective, and we are pleased to be able to give continuity to this synergy," explains Antonio Bruzzone, General Director of BolognaFiere. "Pharmintech has established itself as a great opportunity for dialogue between technology providers and players in the chemical-pharmaceutical world and as a hub for innovation in a sector that fits well into the context of Ipack-Ima".
"I would like to thank Bologna Fiere for the trust placed in Ipack-Ima with the renewal of this collaboration", explains Valerio Soli, President of Ipack-Ima Srl. "This allows us to give continuity to an innovative exhibition project that is able to respond to the needs of exhibitors and visitors from neighbouring industrial sectors, Synergies and opportunities for the entire industry in a unique trade fair of international importance."
