The global non-profit platform CDP has collected and analysed the environmental data of around 15,000 companies. Metsä Board was awarded three „A“ grades for transparency and performance in climate, water and forest protection.
Metsä Board is one of only 12 companies to have been awarded the grade „A“ three times. This is the second year in a row that the company has achieved this triple success.
„We have set ourselves ambitious sustainability targets, such as making our production plants completely free of fossil fuels and raw materials by 2030. Comprehensive, transparent and open communication of our sustainability measures is an important step on the way to achieving this. Inclusion in the A-lists is a great recognition of our systematic work.“
Mika Joukio, Metsä Boards CEO
