The contract manufacturer „R-Pharm“ and the manufacturer „Mettler Toledo PCE“ will cooperate closely in the future in the presentation of serialisation and aggregation solutions. In future, R-Pharm will offer interested parties reference visits to the Illertissen plant in order to demonstrate Mettler Toledo PCE systems live in production operations. Accompanying presentations will provide background information on the requirements for implementing complex track & trace tasks. Joint customer workshops are also planned for the future.
R-Pharm has been using systems and solutions from Mettler Toledo PCE for guideline-compliant Serialisation and Aggregation from pharmaceutical Packaging solutions one. There are a total of nine packaging lines at the Illertissen plant. With these lines, R-Pharm is able to realise all globally valid scenarios for pharmaceutical coding. The contract manufacturer also has data management under control. The systems can be connected to ERP and MES systems. Serial numbers but can also be generated from cloud systems such as „Tracelink“ can be obtained.
