Takeover for a more circular economy

With the Takeover of Hannawald and the upcoming retirement of Albrecht Keiper, Hannawald, who helped build the company from the ground up, played a key role in shaping it and previously managed it together with Harald Sauer, is reorganising the management level. With immediate effect, Harald Sauer, who has been part of the Hannawald management team since 2012, and Jan Bauer, Managing Director of RIGK, will manage the company together. RIGK would like to thank Mr Keiper for his valuable contribution to the successful development of Hannawald Plastik GmbH and wishes him all the best for his retirement.

In 2023, RIGK had already founded the PlastCert department, which specialises in the Certification of recyclability, recycled content and recycling processes and the testing of plastics with customised advice. In addition to establishing the subsidiary plastship, which was founded in 2018 as a digital marketplace for recycled plastics, RIGK is now strengthening its expertise with the acquisition of Hannawald Plastik GmbH. Involvement in all phases of the recycling cycle.
