New management for Indag Beutelmaschinen- und Anlagenbau

Dirk Hejnal took over the management of machine and plant manufacturer Indag in Eppelheim on 1 January 2017. As the market leader for high-speed pouch filling machines, Indag develops and realises modern processing systems and pouch machines for the beverage, food and pet food industries.

Dirk Hejnal, 50, has been the new Managing Director of the Machine and plant manufacturer Indag in Eppelheim, a company of the Capri-Sun Group Holding AG in Zug/Switzerland. As the market leader for High-speed bag filling machines Indag develops and realises modern processing systems and pouch machines for the beverage, food and pet food industries.

Born in Westphalia, he can already look back on more than 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering for the food and beverage industry. He began his career in various European subsidiaries of GEA. In 1992, he moved to the USA for the company. Hejnal returned to Germany in 2008 to take on global responsibilities for the GEA Group. For the past two years, Dirk Hejnal has worked in the automotive supply industry.

During his career, Hejnal has been responsible for the reorganisation of mechanical engineering companies into technological solution providers as well as for expansion projects. His responsibilities also included the Integration of newly acquired companies with several production sites. At Indag, Hejnal now intends to utilise the knowledge he has acquired primarily in the corporate environment to successfully lead the Eppelheim-based company into the future with a growth strategy. He will report to Roland Weening, CEO of Capri-Sun Group Holding AG in Zug.
