With the TwinKlip Applicator, PakTech introduces a new solution designed for the precise, consistent and automated application of PakTech TwinKlip handles to a variety of products such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and spray bottles.
A single-row conveyor belt transports loose bottles through the machine, which automatically attaches one TwinKlip handle per pair of bottles. The TwinKlip applicator was for processing 12 bottles per batch at ten cycles per minute with an overspeed capability of 15 percent for short periods of time, which increases efficiency and optimises final packaging processes.
The PakTech TwinKlip applicator not only saves time, reduces labour costs and increases productivity for each product, but can also be easily adapted to accommodate several different products on the same machine - without sacrificing speed. Colour-coded interchangeable parts can be replaced quickly and easily and each part has its own recipe, which is already programmed in the system and can be selected via the touchscreen HMI, minimising machine downtimes during product changeovers. The Loading tools of the TwinKlip application also serve as clip magazines, which extends the running time between refills.
