The 29th Fakuma, the international trade fair for plastics processing, opened its doors today in Friedrichshafen. Until 19 October, more than 1,600 exhibitors will be showcasing highlights and future solutions relating to plastics and plastics processing.
Occupied are all twelve exhibition halls as well as additional areas in the two foyers East, West and Transition East, where the Startup Area will once again be located. Over four days there will also be Specialist presentations as part of the Fakuma exhibitor forum give. On Wednesday, 16 October, the traditional AI Summit takes place. And the „Career Friday“ the trade fair will inform young people about career opportunities in the plastics industry and at the same time impart knowledge about plastics. For example, Plastics Europe Deutschland will be organising a tour of the trade fair along the entire value chain of a product under the motto „Circular Economy“.
This year, the trade fair will focus on the comprehensive topics of Efficiency, circular economy and sustainability Fakuma 2024 aims to showcase many approaches and new approaches in the field of plastics that are important for industry and society.
