AQua Vera has extended its collaboration with Sidel and opted for a new turnkey PET bottling line to increase production capacity for its still water.
The Italian water bottler AQua Vera is once again focussing on Sidel, to expand its production capacities. A new PET filling line was ordered for the plant in Castrocielo, which can fill up to 20,000 bottles per hour produced. This decision was made in order to meet the growing demand for the „Vera“ brand products, which were launched in 2020 by Nestlé was taken over.

The new packaging line has been specially designed to provide a High user-friendliness, ergonomics and resource efficiency to guarantee the highest quality. The system is designed to significantly reduce the consumption of water, energy and plastic. Fabrizio Quagliuolo, CEO of AQua Vera, praised the long-standing collaboration with Sidel:

A central element of the new line is Sidel's Combi technology, which Blow moulding, filling and capping machines in a single system combined. This reduces the space required and ensures more hygienic and efficient production. The new line also offers an innovative bundling system that minimises the plastic consumption by 50 per cent and electricity consumption by 90 per cent.
The installation of the new system is planned for the beginning of 2024 in order to optimally manage production peaks in the summer.
