Berry Global and T2 Maschinenbau are cooperating to offer PE bags with a 50 per cent recycled plastic content. At Fachpack 2024, they showcased the benefits of their sustainable packaging solutions, which are used in various industries such as agriculture, chemicals and construction.

The bags are made from Single Wound Sheet (SWS) films, which have a wide range of applications in industries such as agriculture, chemicals, construction and consumer goods. At the trade fair, T2 Maschinenbau exhibited a continuously operating Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) packaging machine, which is used in Combination with the SWS slides from Berry is used. These films, from Berry's Sustane Recycled Content range, are designed to offer high automation efficiency while utilising environmentally friendly materials.

According to Elke Kellermann, Sales Manager at Berry, the SWS film not only offers a good environmental profile, but also Versatile branding options. The film can be printed with up to ten colours, which makes it particularly attractive for applications where the focus is on visual enhancements and branding.

For T2 Maschinenbau, this collaboration is an opportunity to demonstrate the ability of its machines to efficiently process sustainable film solutions. T2's VFFS packaging lines are specially designed for processing SWS films, which significantly improve the environmental profile of the end products thanks to their recycled plastic content.
