Registration for the Swiss Packaging Award 2025 is open from 1 March 2025.
We are looking for the most innovative packaging in the categories of sustainability, convenience, design, marketing, technology / construction / machine systems and reusable packaging / systems. Registration will remain open until 1 May 2025.
Innovative packaging, packaging aids, displays (goods-carrying systems, presentation elements) as well as packaging and packaging systems that are developed, designed, manufactured or distributed by Swiss companies or persons or by foreign companies or persons who have launched their entry on the Swiss market are eligible. Each entrant may submit several items of packaging.
Young talents are also invited to enter their packaging ideas for the Swiss Packaging Award: Participation is free of charge for school pupils and students. They will be assessed by the jury in the relevant category. The prerequisite is that the products have not yet been launched on the market.
There are nine awards to be won
The Swiss Packaging Award is presented in the categories of sustainability, convenience, design, marketing, technology / construction / machine systems and reusable packaging / systems. The latter category is new and aims to fulfil the requirements of the legislator. There is also the Young Talent Award, the Special Jury Award and the Public Award as special categories. Packaging of all materials is permitted in the competition. The focus is on promoting and recognising holistic packaging solutions, regardless of the packaging material. A jury of 16 experts nominates up to three packages per category, from which a winner is selected.
Consumers choose the public's favourite online
The winner of the public's choice award is not decided by a jury of experts, but by consumers: they vote for their favourite packaging of the year using e-voting.
Why take part?
The Swiss Packaging Award recognises innovative and forward-looking packaging solutions in Switzerland. Participants benefit from the opportunity to present themselves as a company to a broad public. All award-winning and nominated packaging and the companies or individuals involved may use the official Swiss Packaging Awards logo. The winners also automatically qualify for the World Star Packaging Awards, the international packaging competition of the World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
