The Black Forest suitcase manufacturer Faisst has added a new, sustainable variant to its shipping boxes. Its plastic granulate consists of 100% recycled plastic from the sea.

The „x-press Box Ocean-line“ is a practical, virtually indestructible small parts packaging made from recycled polypropylene that protects goods during shipping. A solid inner frame ensures a secure packing space, while the closure can be opened and closed again and again.

Boxes made from 100% recycled material

The plastic granulate polypropylene (PP) that Faisst uses to manufacture its high-quality box is 100% recycled plastic from the sea. When collecting and processing the materials, the company based in Birkenfeld (Black Forest) relies on the work of tide ocean SA.

The percentage of new plastic in tide ocean material is said to be exactly zero per cent. In addition, the tide upcycling process causes up to 80% less CO2 emissions than the production of new plastic, according to Faisst in a press release.
