New „Pick, Pack & Send“ offers hands-on logistics for e-commerce

The „Pick, Pack & Send“ trade fair on 4 July 2019 in Hanover is aimed at small and medium-sized online retailers. The aim is to offer „hands-on logistics“ for all aspects of e-commerce.

A new event at the Hanover Exhibition Centre is aimed at small and medium-sized online retailers. „Pick, Pack & Send“ on 4 July 2019 is a joint event organised by the e-commerce network Händlerbund and e-commerce consultant Michael Atug with the support of Deutsche Messe AG. .

Around 5,000 square metres in Hall 2 at the Hanover Exhibition Centre have been reserved for the premiere event of the „Pick, Pack & Send“ is planned. The motto of the trade fair is „Logistics hands-on experience for online retailers“.

The aim is to achieve safe, fast and efficient Packaging as well as the automatic and semi-automatic Order picking. Smart storage systems and sophisticated returns management are also among the topics at the trade fair. Presented will be Packaging material, Packaging machines and Packaging accessories. There will also be stands with storage technology, identification and labelling technology, software, fulfilment and services.

Specialist forum for exchange between service providers and retailers

The trade fair will be accompanied by a Specialist forum, where various logistics topics are discussed. The forum will be moderated by Michael Lück. The presentation area around the large stage is intended to stimulate dialogue between service providers and retailers.

The co-organiser Retailer association sees itself as E-commerce network, which manages a total of 80,000 online presences. It offers its members services to professionalise their offerings. These include legal advice, but also support with debt collection procedures.

Michael Atug has made a name for himself as a speaker and consultant on e-commerce topics. He has an unconventional outward appearance, which he emphasises by using the term „e-commerce rock star“.
