Lecta has developed Creaset GP PFAS-Free FP, a new one-side coated glossy paper specially designed for flexible packaging applications. According to the company, the product combines grease resistance with good printability and is intended to offer a safe and sustainable alternative to conventional materials.
The paper is formulated PFAS-free and is therefore aimed at the increasing demand for packaging solutions that do not use controversial chemicals. At the same time, the high level of flexibility should enable it to be used in a wide range of applications. According to Lecta, the glossy surface improves the visual impact of the packaging without compromising on functionality.
Development in the context of growing requirements
The background to the product development is changing regulatory requirements and increasing consumer interest in more sustainable packaging materials. With Creaset GP PFAS-Free FP, Lecta is expanding its portfolio with a solution that meets both the requirements of the industry and the expectations for more environmentally friendly products.
The company sees the launch as part of a broader innovation strategy that focuses on sustainable materials and aims to help partners respond proactively to regulatory changes.
