SIG Group AG has appointed Mikko Keto as its new Chief Executive Officer. The former Group CEO of plant manufacturer FLSmidth will take over his role in the first half of 2026; until then, CFO Anne Erknes will lead the company on an interim basis.
Finnish manager Mikko Keto is moving from FLSmidth to the SIG Group. As Group CEO at FLSmidth, an international industrial company for plants, systems and services in the global mining industry, he has been responsible for a comprehensive transformation process with financial and operational realignment, portfolio focusing and a cost reduction and efficiency programme since 2022.
Internationally experienced transformation expert
Before taking on overall responsibility at FLSmidth, Keto was Head of the Mining Division from 2021. Prior to that, he spent nine years at Metso Corporation, most recently as President Services and Pumps. In his career, he has been involved in successful transformations of several technology-driven industrial companies, including Nokia Networks, KONE Corporation, Metso Corporation and FLSmidth. Since 2019, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of Normet Group. Keto holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics and will be based at SIG's headquarters in Switzerland.
Board of Directors focusses on further growth of SIG

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Rollen would also like to thank CFO Anne Erknes, who has also taken on the role of CEO ad interim during the transition phase.
