The Limburger Packaging Group integrates the product portfolio of Müller & Bauer GmbH & Co. KG completely into its group of companies. With the founding of MB Metallverpackungen GmbH, the company is expanding its range of metal packaging for chemical-technical applications, food and cosmetics, according to a statement.

The Limburg Packaging Group is further developing its corporate structure and bundling its activities in the metal packaging sector. As the company announces, the previous product portfolio of Müller & Bauer GmbH & Co. KG will be fully integrated into the Group and continued under a new subsidiary in future.

Müller & Bauer has been producing metal packaging in Metzingen near Stuttgart since 1899. Around 90 employees currently work in the production of blank and printed packaging made of aluminium and tinplate for customers in Germany, Europe and overseas.

MB Metallverpackungen GmbH is an additional building block within the Limburg Packaging Group. According to the company, the integration is intended to contribute to the targeted expansion of the existing range of metal packaging and to bring together various application areas under one roof. These include chemical-technical applications as well as packaging solutions for the food and luxury food sector and for cosmetic products.

Our focus remains clear: quality, reliability and long-term partnerships. From now on, metal packaging = Limburger - whether chemical-technical, food/indulgence or cosmetics. I would like to thank everyone involved for their professional collaboration over the past few weeks - and I look forward to taking the next step together: Innovative by tradition.“

Hugo Trappmann, CEO of the Limburg Packaging Group

According to the company, the integration emphasises the Limburg Packaging Group's aim of continuously developing its portfolio and strengthening its position as a manufacturer of metal packaging in Europe.
