The Hamburg-based margin agency Hajok Design has designed the new tea packaging for organic supplier Allos. After Hajok had already revised the design of Allos' food product range, the brief was now to reposition the Bremen-based manufacturer's tea products. Although the design of the teas was to be recognisable under the umbrella brand, they were to be given a completely independent look.

Allos has added twelve different flavours to its range of Organic teas recorded. In order to obtain an indication of the most promising design, Hajok Design first carried out a Competition and category code analysis through. This resulted in the first design principles. In contrast to the packaging design for the Allos food portfolio, this time the focus was on Illustrations instead of photography.

Packaging design with attention to detail

„The herbs and tea ingredients were all designed in-house. They reflect the attention to detail and thus also the brand positioning of Allos as a farm manufactory for lovingly composed natural foods,“ reports Susan Khallaf from Hajok Design. Each variety was given its own colour. This is intended to emphasise the diversity of the product range. The surface was given a matt finish and was Embossed prints.

„The result is a colourful packaging design that stands out from other tea brands in a credible and appealing way,“ sums up Hajok Design. Customers from the food sector such as Allos are a focal point in the client portfolio of the agency, which was founded in 1997 by designer Klaus P. Hajok. The more than 50 employees also work for Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, Rossmann, Tchibo and Rewe.
