The SmartLase F500 fibre laser coder from Markem-Imaje offers improved product traceability and additional protection against counterfeiting, even at high speeds.
With the Expansion of the SmartLase series manufacturers are now able to print up to 2400 characters per second on production lines at a speed of up to 640 metres per minute.
Thanks to the use of proprietary algorithms, the SmartLase F500 laser guarantees Uniform, precise labelling on a wide variety of substrates (aluminium and tin cans, plastics, flexible films, extrusion polymers and bare metals) as well as higher printing speeds.
For example, the laser can produce up to 1750 cans per minute with 18 alphanumeric characters (2.6 mm high) on a Production line for beverage cans with a diameter of 66 mm. The pointing diode ensures that the Improved availabilitybecause it speeds up coding adjustments, shortens changeover times and minimises waste even when printing on small areas.
