The Drop & Drive app from pooling specialist PAKi simplifies the delivery of small quantities on pallets and makes pen and paper superfluous thanks to digitalised processes.
PAKi, specialist for the Europe-wide pooling of standardised, exchangeable load carriershas been testing the so-called Drop & Drive APP for several months. The new and, on request, completely digital solution the efficient and flexible "Pooling" of exchangeable load carriers such as Euro pallets.
The Drop & Drive APP enables freight forwarders and logistics service providers, for example, to exchange the Euro pallets previously received in a train-to-train exchange in an uncomplicated and paperless in the PAKi pallet pool attributable.
It simplifies several steps in the return process: customers can View charging stations (PAKi Spots) in the app by location or along routes throughout Europe and Euro pallets at the respective PAKi spot electronically around the clock. The pooling request and its status can be viewed immediately in the tool.
Carriers can then unload the Euro pallets at the PAKi Spot at the agreed time. The User-friendly route planner in the app shows the drivers the way to the spot. After the Euro pallets have been inspected Validation on site completely electronically.
Various options can be selected in advance: One Validation without TAN by digital signature on a smartphone or tablet. With the Validation with TAN This is transmitted by email or SMS or both. The control slip is then created directly in the system and can be viewed immediately in the app as a printable PDF. The pallets are credited to the exchange account in real time.

Our digital pallet return solution reduces the administrative effort in view of increasing volumes on the market and offers secure, fast and fully visible document management for all parties involved," says Christian AgasseCEO of PAKi, on the new offer.
PAKi plans to launch the app after Completion of the current test phase at the beginning of 2020 in Germany. The application is available as a web app and works on smartphones, tablets and computers.
