With its new SealPack technology, Weener Plastics (WP) offers a standardised tool concept for customised deodorant roll-on designs. While the ball area is fixed, the bottle part can be designed as desired.
The WP development team has developed a One-piece deodorant bottle with a patented seal which ensures optimum ball tightness. The standard packaging is equipped with a 1.4″ deodorising ball and matching screw cap. However, customised versions are also possible.
The design of the ball section with sealing function is fixed to obtain the desirable ball tightness and rotation for convenient application of the deodorant. However, the design of the bottle section is flexible. An interchangeable mould part allows the customer to choose a customised, appealing design. From a straight, smooth, masculine look up to a rather feminine design everything is possible with limited investment costs.

In addition, the entire packaging is lightweight, partly due to the elimination of the fitment, a fourth part that is often used in conventional roll-on packaging. This reduces the overall weight of the packaging by around 25 per cent. The SealPack bottle is also supplied with a Percentage of recycled polyethylene (rPE) which makes the roll-on even more sustainable.
Product development, mould construction and production are all handled by WP. The first customers - local and global players - have already accepted this innovative standard solution and successfully launched it on the market. The bottle was adapted to the desired brand identity.
