Rovema GmbH will be exhibiting packaging solutions for frozen food and milled products at Fachpack. An Inno-Tech machine and the Rovema SBS packaging system will also be on site.
With the SBS block packaging machine, the Fernwald-based company offers a system for low-dust, compact and dust-tight packaging of powder. Bags filled with rice flour are produced live on site from a roll of barrier paper. Specially developed by Sappi for applications in the food industry, the paper guarantees 100 per cent protection in direct contact with dry foods such as cereals, rice, pasta or flour and can be recycled in the paper waste stream.
The machine is a combination of Flow wrapping machine and downstream integrated Systems for bag head and bag closure design. The block pack shown is optimised in volume, which saves packaging material and reduces the transport volume. In addition to the many options for bag head and bag closure design, the machine also offers maximum flexibility for batches of different bag sizes.

The machine is equipped with the new Rovema HMIThe dashboard provides the operator with graphical support during production. Clear graphical elements provide real-time information on the machine's most important data, such as infeed performance, film flow and production output - all at a glance. All upstream and downstream machines can be integrated.
Bundled competences
With the Revo series from Inno-Tech Rovema can now offer even more for the frozen food industry. The continuous flow-wrapping machines in this series have a modular design and are available as a simple version for small budgets through to a special machine with an inclined filling tube for particularly gentle packaging of fragile products. Convertible to continuous or intermittent packaging, the Inno-Tech-Revo can also reliably process demanding packaging materials such as paper.

The machine is available with a Siemens or B&R machine controller as standard. At the trade fair, the company will be demonstrating a Flat bag solution made of kraft paper with water vapour barrier for the frozen food industry. A Mondi kraft paper that can be disposed of via the paper recycling stream is used.
