cancelled in 2021, Paris Packaging Week has been postponed this year from January to 29 and 30 June. The umbrella brand unites three established Parisian trade fairs, which together cover the packaging sectors of cosmetics, beverages and aerosols.
Paris Packaging Week: a new name for the three events Aerosol & Dispensing Forum (ADF), Packaging of Perfume, Cosmetics & Design (PCD) and Packaging of Premium & Luxury Drinks (PLD). PCD, launched in 2001, is celebrating its 21st edition, ADF, launched in 2007, its 15th edition and PLD, launched in 2020, its second edition. The event not only has a new name, but also a new design. "The Paris Packaging Week and the new identities of ADF, PCD and PLD will create a new experience, both in person and via digital channels, for everyone involved in packaging innovation,“ says Renan Joel, Head of Easyfairs' packaging exhibitions in the UK, France, Italy and Switzerland.
Due to the pandemic, the event, which normally takes place in January, is now being held at the start of the summer season. This has not dampened the response. „We are delighted with the enthusiasm of the exhibitors and the public. 650 suppliers, including international companies, have booked their stands. 10,000 participants are expected over the two days. This major event is still three months away and pre-registration rates are excellent,“ said Josh Brooks, event director of Paris Packaging Week.
