Schulte Verpackungs-Systeme takes over Fritz Betzinger & Sohn

With effect from 1 January 2017, the long-established company Fritz Betzinger & Sohn has been transferred to Schulte Verpackungs-Systeme GmbH. Schulte Verpackungs-Systeme takes over the customers and employees of Betzinger. The Betzinger site will be closed.

With effect from 1 January 2017, the long-established company Fritz Betzinger & Sohn from Iserlohn has been transferred to Schulte Verpackungs-Systeme GmbH from Hemer. Schulte Verpackungs-Systeme will take over the customers and employees of Betzinger. The Betzinger site will be closed.

Fritz Betzinger & Sohn can look back on over 140 years of existence. Now in its fifth generation, the well-known family business has been active in the field of wooden packaging. In 1874, the Fritz Betzinger company started out as a cooperage producing barrels and vats for local needs. Product range constantly expanded

[Schulte Verpackungs-Systeme GmbH develops and manufactures industrial packaging made of wood and wood-based materials and provides comprehensive packaging and logistics services for numerous customers. The company moved from Menden to the new plant in Hemer-Deilinghofen in 2011. Around 85 employees work there on an area of 60,000 m² with 20,000 m² of hall space. In autumn 2015, a new logistics centre was put into operation, where mainly machines and systems as well as heavy and long goods are professionally packed for worldwide shipping, temporarily stored at the customer's request and dispatched.
