
Fujifilm is launching its first proprietary printing ink for indirect food contact. CuremaX UV LED IDFC is a high-gloss LED UV printing ink and is particularly suitable for label printing.
Fujifilm gives today on the Labelexpo Europe announced the market launch of CuremaX IDFC in Brussels. This is the The company's first printing ink for indirect food contact. CuremaX IDFC is a high-gloss LED UV printing ink that can also be cured with a conventional lamp system if required. The The printing ink range with dual curing has been specially developed for food and pharmaceutical packaging with indirect contact to the contents. and minimises the risk of migration. CuremaX IDFC is suitable for narrow web label printing, from self-adhesive labels and films without liner to pouches for impregnated articles and shrink sleeves.
With CuremaX you can print on all typical synthetic and non-synthetic label substrates, including PE, PP, OPP, PET, PVC and aluminium as well as coated and uncoated paper. The low-viscosity, ready-to-print colours achieve a high colour density and can reproduce the entire Pantone colour library. They can also be overprinted with thermal transfer ribbons and cold foil adhesives.
CuremaX IDFC fulfils the requirements of Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21 for printing inks for printing on the surface of consumer goods that do not come into direct contact with food. The printing inks are manufactured in accordance with the EU Regulation on Good Manufacturing Practice and European Framework Directives.
