The new paper-based bottom film is compatible with both vacuum skin packaging (VSP) and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP). It was developed for a range of roller, thermoforming and VSP systems and is suitable for packaging a range of products such as fresh meat, meat and sausage products, fish and seafood, cheese or alternative proteins.

The paper-based bottom film is available in the colours white and kraft and can be combined with Darfresh brand vacuum skin films. Cryovac compatible to hold the products in place and minimise movement in the packaging. The mouldable barrier paper consists of 90 per cent paper and 10 per cent plastic and can be disposed of in paper waste (according to Aticelca 501 UNI 11743 passport levels), where appropriate local recycling services are available.
