Packsize has entered into an agreement to acquire Panotec's packaging business. The Italian company develops and manufactures automated solutions for the production of right-sized packaging. The strategic decision aims to expand Pack.

With the acquisition of Panotec, Packsize is significantly expanding its range of automated packaging solutions. Panotec is renowned for developing and producing solutions that enable custom-fit packaging. These technologies are intended to help Packsize serve its customers in over 50 countries more effectively. Brian Reinhart, Chief Revenue Officer at Packsize, emphasised that this acquisition supports the company's strategy of offering customers more flexibility and choice in optimising their packaging processes.

Synergies and a shared vision

The integration of Panotec into Packsize's corporate structure is facilitated by a shared focus on innovation and quality. Kellen Frey, Chief Operating Officer at Packsize, explained that combining expertise, technology, and production capacities will enable the company to continue investing in quality, service, and innovation. Carlo Capoia, Vice President at Panotec, added that the strengths of both companies will be united to offer a broader range of products and services.

This acquisition follows the acquisition of Sparck Technologies in April 2025, where Packsize combined its technology and service offering with Sparck's 3D packaging systems. These systems include, among other things, solutions for box-loading packaging and the automatic production of trays and lids. Continuous investment in new technologies and strategic acquisitions underscore Packsize's intention to consolidate its market position in the field of packaging automation.

Regulatory requirements

The completion of the acquisition of Panotec is subject to the usual regulatory requirements, including the necessary official approvals and legally required consultation processes with employee representatives.
