SPS IPC Drives expands exhibition space to 16 halls

With the newly added Hall 10.1, „SPS IPC Drives“ in Nuremberg from 28 to 30 November 2017 will now have a total of 16 halls. Suppliers from the fields of „Mechanical Infrastructure“ and „Industrial Communication“ will have significantly more space to present themselves.

With the newly added Hall 10.1, „SPS IPC Drives“ in Nuremberg from 28 to 30 November 2017 will now have a total of 16 halls. Suppliers from the fields of „Mechanical Infrastructure“ and „Industrial Communication“ will have significantly more space to present themselves.

This year, the „SPS IPC Drives“ trade fair is expanding its exhibition space to a total of 16 halls. A new addition is Hall 10.1, where exhibitors will be presenting their products and services in Halls 10, 10.0 and 10.1 at the industry event from 28 to 30 November 2017 in Nuremberg.„Control technology“, „Interface technology“, „Mechanical infrastructure“ and „Industrial communication“.

The „Mechanical Infrastructure“ area was previously located in Hall 6. Due to the great response to this offer, the topic is now moving to Hall 10.1 as well as Hall 2. The „Industrial Communication“ area will be located in Hall 2 as before, but has also been given additional capacity in Hall 10.1.

In Hall 6, visitors will now find more concentrated offerings than before from the areas of „Control Technology“ and „Software and IT in production“.

With the reorganisation of the subject areas, „SPS IPC Drives“ is responding to the ever-increasing trend towards Industry 4.0-applications. Industrial communication standards such as „OPC Unified Architecture“ or TSN enable new concepts such as cloud-based applications or predictive maintenance in conjunction with the mechanical infrastructure.
