Ulma Packaging is showcasing its latest packaging technologies for the food, medical, and pharmaceutical industries at Interpack. With two stands at the trade fair, the company is highlighting its expertise in integrated automation, hygienic machine design, sustainability, and validated process control under regulatory requirements.
In Hall 5, Ulma Packaging is targeting the food industry with high-performance solutions. The TSX 875 tray sealer, suitable for demanding fast-skin applications, is at the centre of attention. This is complemented by the TSA 540, which achieves up to 21 cycles per minute for MAP and skin packaging. Sustainable technologies such as Leafskin and R-Skin demonstrate how material usage and resource consumption can be reduced.
In the field of vertical packaging, Ulma presents the VTC 840 WD, which is suitable for fresh, frozen, and sensitive products. TightBag and SealFlex technologies support sustainable packaging concepts here.
Validated Processes for Medicine and Pharmaceuticals
In Hall 16, Ulma Packaging is focusing on the medical and pharmaceutical sectors. Here, validated process control and complete traceability are crucial. The FM 305 horizontal form-fill-seal machine produces hermetically sealed packaging at speeds of up to 100 packs per minute, while the TFS 500 system offers flexible and rigid packaging solutions.
Particular attention is given to the Eco Forming concept, which includes sustainable material solutions such as mono-materials, as well as combinations with paper or Tyvek.
