At Fachpack, WIS Kunststoffe GmbH will be presenting extended post-consumer recyclate (PCR) solutions for recyclable packaging, including for sensitive applications. New additions to the portfolio are rPE and rPP materials with FDA certification.
According to the company, WIS is the first European manufacturer with a Authorisation for rPP „all type of food“ - suitable for direct food and hygiene contact. The materials are used in flexible films and laminates for wet wipe-based products such as baby wipes. High demands are placed on quality, product safety and certifications for leave-on products.
With in-house production and a laboratory for migration tests, WIS says it ensures consistently high material quality, in some cases customised to customer processes. For sustainable solutions, the company relies on High-quality recyclates and ISCC PLUS-certified materials, which can also be used reliably for complex packaging. The products already fulfil the requirements of the EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR) 2030 and are designed to help customers switch to future-proof packaging solutions at an early stage.
