Cartonpack takes over Agrypack, thereby expanding its presence in Northern Italy. The acquisition promotes strategic expansion in packaging solutions.

Agrypack, a Verona-based company established in 1992, specialises in providing packaging solutions for the agricultural and food sectors.

Strengthening market presence

With this acquisition, Cartonpack aims to strengthen its commercial and operational presence in Northern Italy, while simultaneously expanding its portfolio of integrated solutions for the fruit, vegetable, and food industries. The move aligns with Cartonpack's strategy to improve customer proximity and offer more efficient and structured services.

The relationship between Cartonpack and Agrypack is not new. Both companies were commercial partners for years and have built a collaboration based on mutual trust, market expertise, and complementary offerings, it is stated. The integration therefore represents the natural evolution of an already well-established partnership, enabling greater operational synergies and a stronger territorial presence.

Continuity and Development

A key part of the agreement is ensuring management continuity, where Simone Turrini will continue to head up Agrypack. The transaction also includes a significant development plan for the Agrypack site, which involves an expansion of activities into two logistics and production areas, to further enhance operational capacity and service quality.

„The acquisition strengthens our presence in Northern Italy and consolidates a historical partnership that has created value over time. It allows us to integrate commercial expertise and local market knowledge into a solid industrial platform, further improving service quality and customer proximity.“

Giuseppe Leone, CEO of Cartonpack

With this transaction, Cartonpack Group further extends its territorial coverage and vertical integration along the supply chain, in line with its long-term growth strategy. This strategic move highlights the importance of Northern Italy for the packaging industry and the continuous evolution of services to meet customer needs.
