„CosmeticBusiness“ has become more international

The „Cosmetic Business“ trade fair on 6 and 7 June 2018 in Munich was a success, according to the organisers. More international exhibitors and visitors attended.

Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe, describes the „CosmeticBusiness“ trade fair in Munich on 6 and 7 June 2018 as a „complete success“ with more international visitors and more exhibition space. Companies from 19 countries presented their ideas and solutions for the cosmetics industry and its suppliers in all four halls of the MOC Munich.

The „CosmeticBusiness“ is the most important industry platform for customers from Switzerland, Germany and Austria, Geisenberger continued. There were 419 exhibitors on the 12,000 square metres of exhibition space. 37 per cent of the exhibitors came from abroad.

The exhibitors were almost unanimously satisfied with the quality of the contacts made at the trade fair. Good follow-up business is expected.

Visitors came from 55 countries

The organiser also presents good figures for the visitor side. From 55 countries people came to „CosmeticBusiness“. 31 per cent of visitors did not come from Germany. At the previous trade fair, the proportion of foreign visitors was 27 per cent. According to the follow-up survey, 91 per cent of visitors were decision-makers.

„Exhibitors and visitors have really enjoyed the new trade fair highlights such as the ‚Colour Cosmetics‘ and the Distributors Lounge very well received,“ says Project Director Ivonne Simons. The „Colour Cosmetics“ area was dedicated to suppliers of decorative cosmetics.

New „Distributors Lounge“ was well received

Also new was the „Distributors Lounge“. There, over Matchmaking sessions for visitors and exhibitors. The service helped foreign suppliers and cosmetics brands in particular to find distributors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

CosmeticBusiness„ was accompanied by a large programme of lectures and forums on various topics.

The newly introduced Trend workshops of the „Carlin Creative Trend Bureau“. The special „Spotlight“ show once again presented 32 new products from exhibitors.
